THE RAT

Often referred to as "The Fifth Fuzzy" the Rat's career has been long and controversial. He started his music career as a backup singer with Captain and Tenille on their monster hit "Muskrat Love"  However, his credentials soon came under question. Admitting he was, indeed, not a Muskrat, he was expelled from the band. Even though he found success later on with The Boomtown Rats, he was inconsolable. He soon descended into a spiral of alcohol and drug abuse, and after a falling out with Bob Geldof over a woman, he quit the band. In the Landmark case of "Rat vs. Boomtown Rats", he unsuccessfully sued Geldof over the ownership of the band name. Picking up the pieces, he hit the road as The Boomtown Rodent, but the damage was done, and he announced his retirement.
How he came to be involved in Fuzzy Stone remains a mystery, he was rumored to have been in rehab when he met a guy who knew a guy that knew another guy that dated one of the band members sisters, and he showed up for practice one day declaring himself the new Lead Singer. Chris Quigley was kicked out, the Rat was in, Chris briefly went on to form the now forgotten band The Boomtown Quigs, but when the guys realized that all the Rat wanted to do was a speed metal version of "Muskrat Love" over and over again,    Chris was asked to rejoin Fuzzy Stone. The Rat, bitter over his ouster, fell off the wagon. He continued to show up for gigs where he was known to drunkenly yell "Play Muskrat Love" and "You Guys didn't know how good you had it !!" at the top of his lungs. After a brief stay in rehab, he dedicated himself to writing a Rock Opera called "THe Year Of The Rat" and roadies for the band ALL RIGHT TOKYO.
The Rat is a Taurus, which explains why he is such a goddamn prick.
